I’ve used everything from Milwaukee, Bosch (American made ones), Dewalt, Ridgid, Craftsman Pro, Festool, Makita, PC, Hitachi, Fein, Metabo, and any number of cheap brands. I recently picked up the Panasonic Li-ion combo and I’m blown away. The 15.6 Panasonic and the 12 impact has served me well for years, but the Li-ion set is incredible. I get annoyed with the amount of button pushes on the 12 impact and the 15.6 will always be my sentimental favorite. But I must say I am completely amazed at what Panasonic has done with the Li-ion tools. The charger even juices my 15.6 battery. Anyone else out there have a similar experience? Why don’t these guys advertise their tools? They are more comfortable to hold and use than my Kimber pistol.
I guess I just can’t comprehend how such a great product can go so unnoticed by the “pros”.

The reason they don’t advertise and sell their products in the “box” stores is because the “pros” already know of the quality and they get enough from word of mouth, and in some of the “pro” wood-working magazines.
