I have the above planer and recently it has been leaving high lines on the wood. They are not always in the same area. I have run the piece thru several times and get the same thing. I have run it on the far left, center and right sides and still lines in it that run from end to end. Yes I changed the blades to new ones and still doing it to my wood. I’ve taken the machine apart and blew every thing out of it with my compressor, Wiped everything I can see, cleaned the rollers, waxed the table basically it looks like it came out of the new box. The new blades were from makita. Did I miss something? Do you know of this problem?

Interesting Question? Changing the blades rules out nicks in the blades or pitch on the blades. What direction is the grain when you run the boards through. Try changing the grain direction and making the lightest cut possible. If you are taking to big of a cut this will mess with the cut as well. You didn’t specify the species of wood so try a different species and see if the problem still exists. If all this fails contact Makita tech support on trouble shooting.
