Selecting A Hammer Drill For Home Use?

by William on October 3, 2009

I have to buy a good hammer drill for home use. I have come across two hammer drills which are:
1. Makita HP 1620K – Made in England
2. Bosch GSB 16 RE –Made in Malaysia
Please guide me in selecting one of these

I m w/ dan. For the basic home owner why spend the big bucks.. My Craftsmen works great for the few jobs a year I need it for. Same w/ day to day regular drill I use a basic Black and Decker. GL

Between these 2 go with Makita, but if you have money to blow and want the best buy a hilti.
