Yes, Muntinlupa is a safe place. People,especially foreigners, are just paranoid about these places in the Philippines. Makati is not the only place in the Philippines with decent girls. I guarantee you, even the most progressive countries do have crimes.
Muntinlupa is not too far from Makati. It is already a metropolis infact I enjoy shopping at upscale Ayala Mall in Alabang Muntinlupa. Enjoy, you deserve to experience the thrill of meeting your friend. God bless.

Mkati you mean..well between makati and muntinlupa i will choose makati ..there’s a lot of beautiful shopping mall, restaurants and safer place than muntinlupa.

Muntinlupa is not as upscale as makati but nothing wrong with it, just be careful of pick pockets…definetely check out makati there’s a lot of cool clubs like embassy n jaipur… nice restaurants n shopping in rockwell in makati…. if u have the chance go to boracay, it’s only an hour plane ride from manila n it’s the most beautiful place on earth! u wont reget it!
Muntinlupa City is very near Makati City. Sans traffic you can get there within 20 minutes. You can find nice hotels and restos if you want to go out for the night, it’s very easy to go to makati, malate or anywhere you fancy. It’s not as congested as Makati… If you want an easy living for a while you might want to try Muntinlupa for a Change. There’s agood Hotel Vivere` and Bellevue… With good services…
Muntinlupa is no more or less safer, in terms of typical crime rates, than other parts of the country. Makati may be a tad safer. The distance between both places is about 3 miles, or about up to 45 minutes by car in typical traffic (no kidding).
Anyways, I find your question amusing because if you have already decided to take the leap to fly to the other side of the world, right into a 3rd world country with a very different culture lifestyle just to meet a girl of a different race you met online and never met in person–it seems ridiculous that you would be so frightened to travel another 3 miles. LOL.

yes it is safe in metro manila, muntilupa is considered metro manila, so dont worry, it is general peacefully here in manila even in the whole philippines but dont go in the mindanao areas.
i live in Muntinlupa… =) south of national capital region… there are only few malls and shopping center but it has less pollution compare to Makati. It’s small actually and it’s not true that it’s dangerous in here.. MAkati is more dangerous many bomb threat occur there. but I prefer Makati because Malls there are huge, the only problem is that there are many people.
