All the named brands are acceptable but opinions will vary no matter how many you speak with.
Given the fact that much of the tool is crafted in China, etc, then assembled, and given pretty color cases, you might assume that the differences are in the brand name and over all popularity.

I have all the brands named, plus, and one is as good as another, primarily in how I use the tool.

I like Makita 18v. Hands down they work better then Dewalt. I use them to install metal roofing and have half a dozen of them.
